Quest Construction has begun erection of steel and framing at a number of the buildings within the Temple Solel project in Encinitas. Recently completed scopes of work include site masonry walls and site improvements for fire access. Construction of the approximately 35,000 square foot facility, which is scheduled to included four separate buildings, large social hall with a full kitchen and a future open amphitheater area, began last year. Expected completion date is this fall.
The project was designed by Goldman Firth Architects and incorporates a number of unique design items including separate buildings, radius walls and a variety of building elevations to maximize land usage. Special finishes include Jerusalem stone, a large number of both door and window arches and elegant finish carpentry.
Some of the major subcontractors include D & S Construction Company (framing), Progressive Steel (structural steel), CCI (concrete), WestTech Contracting, Inc. (grading), West Coast Underground (excavation), Marsh Electric and Greene Plumbing.
