A groundbreaking Ceremony was held by Quest Construction in conjunction with the Torrey Pines Foundation to commemorate construction improvements at the Torrey Pine High School Baseball and Softball Fields. The newly remodeled fields will provide upgraded dugouts, expanded storage and handicap upgrades on both the women's and men's fields. The majority of time, materials and services were donated by local business and community members.

Services were donated at a reduced cost by Bokal & Sneed Architects, KCM Construction Management and coordinated by TPHS Ballfield Improvement Committee Board Member, Craig Ramseyer. Subcontractors involved in construction include P.W. Construction, T.B. Penick & Sons, Panetti Construction, Unlimited Excavation, Green Plumbing, Olson Landscape, McGuire Electric, MTGL Soils Testing, and Alliance Engineering.
